Megan Moore, Owner
Megan is a native of Salt Lake City and graduated number one in her class from Cameo College of Essential Beauty. She also attended the University of Utah and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Megan is a happy new mom and spends her time outside of the salon with her family. Starting at an early age she loved fashion and beauty, and decided to take her interests and turn them in to a career. Megan is so proud of the team she has assembled at Moore Hair Design, and loves the business of making people look and feel their best. It is no coincidence that Moore Hair Design was voted 'Best Salon in Utah 2007', by citysearch.com, just two years after opening their doors. Kimberly Bailey, Stylist
Kimberly is from California and brings lots of energy to Moore Hair Design. She has 3 years in the business but has the natural talent of the most experienced of stylists. Kim became interested in hair as a young girl while watching her older sisters get ready for dates and dances. As a result she is one of MHD's best formal styling artists and specializes in wedding updos. Kim loves a major transformation and enjoys clients who aren't afraid of a change. She admires people who donate hair for Locks of Love, and welcomes new clients who want a fun fresh look.





Melinda Hughes, Stylist
Melinda has been at Moore Hair Design for two years, and is our resident "Rock n' Roll" idol. When she isn't singing the lyrics to all her favorite rock song classics, she is busy creating edgy fun styles for her clients. Melinda is currently pursuing her teaching degree at the University of Utah, but says she'll always do hair because it is something she is so passionate about. A graduate of Hairitage Academy, and later a graduate instructor at Paul Mitchell the school, Melinda has years of experience under her belt and an understanding of the industry that her clients appreciate. Melinda loves camping, volunteering with Special Olympics, and visiting her family in Australia.




Kathy Tengono, Stylist
Kathy graduated from Paul Mitchell the school, and has been doing hair for over 4 years. She is known for her attention to detail and her fabulous blow-dry styling. You will leave the salon with Hollywood-ready hair every time you sit in Kathy's chair. She has a love for all things fashion and has a flair for the glamorous! When asked what she enjoys most about her job, she says " I love it all!"... and it shows. Kathy speaks fluent Spanish and has a very diverse clientele, she specializes in dimensional color and loves cutting as well. Kathy also does editorial and makeup work for photo shoots, and is accepting new clients.




Holly Olsen, Stylist/ Hair Replacement Specialist
Holly is MHD's resident veteran and has been styling hair for 15 years. Her expertise is apparent and her clients agree. She had an interest in hair at a young age and decided to enter the field with a strong desire to help people. She was a Pivot Point graduate and is skillful in precision cutting techniques. Holly is a hair replacement guru and has worked for the best in the biz when it comes to this unique art. Her long resume includes Squire Natural, Apollo, and Lifelike hair replacement systems. Holly loves to sing and travel in her spare time and is a great member of the Moore Hair Design team.





Krystin Mann, Stylist
Krystin is a recent addition to MDH, and brings five years of experience with her. Krystin is an experienced colorist and has extensive training in several color lines including her favorite, Redken. She loves to attend trade and industry shows and absorb as much information as possible to bring home to her clients. Her love of the industry started young and she continues to grow her passion for the business everyday. Outside the salon Krystin loves to scrapbook and spend time with her young family. Moore Hair Design is happy to have her on board!




Cally Boam, Master Esthetician
Cally is a graduate from the Francios D academy and is Moore Hair Design's head esthetician. Her knowledge of skincare and her love for the the health and wellness industry is very apparent. She focuses on result-oriented treatments and believes in educating clients on ways to maintain beautiful skin at home. Cally is a trained airbrush tanning specialist as well as an expert in body and facial waxing. She loves to attend concerts with friends, spend time with family, and read a good book in her spare time.





Jessica Barnes, Stylist
Jessica has been in the industry for nine years and is extremely passionate about helping clients look their best. She prides herself on continuing education and is constantly striving to learn more. She has attended trade shows locally as well as in Chicago and Las Vegas, and has been educated in several of today's hottest hair product lines. She is one of MHD's best updo artists and enjoys the satisfaction that comes with wedding styling. Jessica is a great listener and understands the clients needs very well. She loves to brainstorm new ideas with her clients, and together they come up with new and exciting looks. Outside the salon she loves to spend time with her new son and family, take in the great outdoors, and appreciate great music.


Brooke Bird, Stylist
Brooke is Moore Hair Design's premiere hair extension specialist, and is a lead educator for Rock Star Extensions. She travels the country teaching classes to stylists and is an expert in this artistic field. Brooke also specializes in dimensional color techniques and is very detail oriented. She loves the ever-changing industry and the limitless trends to keep up with, making each day at work exciting and new. She has a large clientele of loyal followers who rave about her natural talent and love her spunky attitude. In her leisure time Brooke loves to hear live music, work on home improvement projects, and travel to see her family in Idaho.



Aleca Yates, Master Esthetician
Aleca is a graduate from Cameo College of Essential Beauty, and enjoys esthetics because it combines her two loves... Skincare and Makeup! She loves the relaxing atmosphere of the spa and enjoys treating clients to a well-rounded experience. Aleca specializes in chemical peels and facial treatments. She is also certified in 'Lash Be-long' Lash Extensions, and makeup artistry. In her spare time she is an active blogger, and enjoys spending time with her husband, going to hockey games, and playing with her two dogs.



Sara Bennion, Stylist
Sara Graduated from Paul Mitchell in Cosmetology as well as the Phase Two Master's Program with honors. She has a bright bubbly personality you can't help but love. She specializes in bridal hair and makeup and loves working on photo shoots, fashion shows, and editorial work. She is an expert at advanced scissor work, and is well known for her precision haircuts. Sara loves to spend time with her husband and dog "Bella", and is an avid Yoga enthusiast when she is not working at MHD.
